Full details regarding school admissions are available in the Admissions Handbook – this is available on the Northumberland County Council Website.
Generally, children are admitted into school at the beginning of the Autumn Term (September) following their fourth birthday.
All parents, regardless of whether they reside inside or outside of the schools catchment area, must complete a school preference application form. This can be done online through the admissions portal.
The Northumberland portal opens 1st November and requests all submissions by 15th January.
If your child is already at the school nursery a letter will be sent to your home address giving details of how to log onto the portal. If you are resident in Northumberland but do not have a nursery place you can still apply through the portal by following the instructions on the Northumberland County Council website.
If you live outside Northumberland you must apply for a place through your own authority admissions process.
