PTA
Wylam First School PTA is a team of volunteer parents and teachers working together to raise funds for our children’s school. We organise various fundraising events throughout the year, including Children’s Discos/Jumble Sales/Easter Bingo /Curry Nights/Coffee Mornings/Summer Ball/ Summer & Christmas Fairs.
Joining the PTA is a rewarding and fun way to get involved with the school, and we would like to welcome any Parent or Carer, as your support would be valued very much. We hope you will come and join us and bring with you any ideas for future events. Look out for notices when our next meeting will be held or contact any member of the committee.

A Fantastic Climbing Frame for the Early Years children* School Yard Markings Enhanced* iPhone Docking Mini Music System for the main school hall * CD Player-Nursery * Coach paid for childrens Xmas panto trip * £500 allocated to School Allotment – timber for raised beds, gateposts and fruit trees have been purchased * Water Aprons/Alphabet Activity Mats/Alphabet Sign Panels/Giant Snakes & Ladders/ Giant Outdoor Beading/Days of Week Train/Counting Balloons have all been purchased for Early Years Unit.
From September 2010 – September 2011
*Digital Camera Nursery / *Pantomime Trip for all of the School/*Electric Screen for Main Hall/*Garden Equipment & Tools/*Games & ICT Software for Early Years.
We are sure you will agree we have been able to make a positive contribution towards school over the past years. However, without the help of parents and carers coming along and supporting these events we would not be able to achieve any of this.
