Pets of all shapes and sizes were carried, walked and driven to school for the much anticipated Pet Show. Local vet Gundi Golightly had the unenviable task of judging from a range of animals, from chickens, cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs and even a snake not to mention a duck, tarantula, hedgehog and a one-eared rabbit.

Biggest Pet Award went to Irish Wolfhound Fearghal, Fluffiest Pet Award went to Cocker Spanial, Lola, Longest Pet to a Royal Python, Monkey, Peoples Prize Award Runner Up to African Pygmy Hedgehog, Mila and the overall winner of the Peoples Prize, most popular pet of the day went to Russian Dwarf Hamsters, Indie and Nibbles.

Earth, Wind & Fire Open Day

Thank you to all the staff & parents who came along to help out. We had a fantastic day, and families who came along agree.

The Raku was fab with some amazing tiles being painted & fired. Mr Featonby’s rockets were a soaring success and Linda Walton’s Labyrinth was created just in time before the rain came down, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the children playing with the water! The children planted herbs with Claire Stubbs at the allotment and a big thank you to the Choir who yet again performed beautifully.

We are hoping to build upon this event and make it a regular feature in the school calendar so if you didn’t make it this year then next is a must!
