The Big Sing
The Big Sing is on the 9 July. We will be travelling by train to Newcastle, walking to The Sage, Gateshead and returning to Wylam station at 4:10.
Children will eat their lunch early at school and then walk to the train station. We will have a snack at the Quayside before going into the Sage.
Could I request that your child:
- wears school uniform
- brings a packed lunch (will be eaten at school at 11:30)
- brings a small snack and drink that they can carry either in their pockets or in a rucksack, they need their hands free
- is collected from Wylam station at 4:10
The cost for this visit is £5.00 please hand your permission forms back to school enclosing your contribution. Thank you.

Wylam First School choir is open to all children in Years 2, 3 and 4. There are no auditons – all are welcome! The choir is led by Helen Bennett, Becky Kroese and Sean Daly.
We meet every Friday lunchtime (12.30 – 1:00) in the nursery classroom. We sing a wide variety of songs and the emphasis is always on having fun.
We have performed at a wide variety of venues throughout the North East. We have performed in many venues around Wylam and further afield…Central Station, Newcastle and The Sage Gateshead too.
