School choir sang at  Hexham Christmas market on Saturday 10th December.

Well Done to everyone who sang at the Wylam Orchard Open day at school on Saturday 24 September.  You sounded Brilliant!

Our last big event was our participation in The Big Sing at The Sage Gateshead on 6th July 2011.  Hundreds of children gathered in Hall One to sing together.  The theme this year was ‘The Big Sing Goes Wild’  I was very proud of Wylam First School choir, their behaviour was perfect and their singing and dancing amazing!  Brilliant.   Becky

Wylam First School choir is open to all children in Years 2, 3 and 4. There are no auditons – all are welcome!  The choir is led by Helen Bennett, Becky Kroese and Sean Daly.

We meet every Friday lunchtime (12.30 – 1:00) in the nursery classroom.  We sing a wide variety of songs and the emphasis is always on having fun.

We have performed at a wide variety of venues throughout the North East. We have performed in many venues around Wylam and further afield…Central Station, Newcastle and The Sage Gateshead too.
